SHY Keyboard Player Great news - Joe Baskettes has finally beenmade SHY's keyboard player. Shy already writing new album. Early reports indicate an album in line with Unfinished Business & Sunset & Vine. Sunset & Vine Top 3 Seller HMV Japan SHY - NEWSFLASH Reflections - The AnthologyShy to release double cd - Best of album covering tracks from Once Bitten to Sunset & Vine . This will be on Sanctury Records.
SHY are also thinking of re-recording Misspent Youth songs for inclusion, as we all know how poor the sound quality is on that album. SHY will be promoting this new best of album by an extensive UK & European Tour. The Best of has a working title of "Break Down The Walls" and should be 30 tracks.Release Date : 21st November : Double Album October 2005 New Best of album is going to be called
"Reflections - The Anthology"
and will be released on
November 21st 2005. SHY NEWS - OCTOBER 2005 SHY have been approached by Frontiers (Italy) about future SHY album releases for a 2 album deal. SHY will release "Reflections - The Anthology " first and consider what's on offer in the new year. There may be other record companies interested as well, so SHY will keep their options at the moment. More news here when it is announced. Release Date Nov 21st SHY News - Dec 9th It was great to meet up with SHY at The Camden Underworld and talk to Tony & the rest of the band. I spoke to Tony and Roy about the next SHY album and possible record deals on the table for SHY at the moment. They confimed that SHY presently had various record deals offered to them including Frontiers, but at this moment they would make no decisions. 2006 looks very promising for SHY and there seems to be the possibility of a live cd happening and a possibility of a DVD. I cannot confirm anything at the moment and hope to as soon as possible in the new year. Z ROCK 2006 - SHY headline Act SHY are to headline Z Rock 2006 at The Limelight in Crewe. It will be a full set and more and may well be recorded for Live album release. This is on Sunday 2nd April 2006. So get there and enjoy a great night with Shy and many more. TONY MILLS -October 2005 Tony Mills is currently working on 3 projects inlcuding work on a new Northern Light Project with Tor Talle. New Solo Album 2006 - Z Records Tony Mills is to release a new solo album and this time it will be a mainstream AOR album. Keep looking for more details. TONY MILL'S UPDATE - Nov 2nd Tony Mills is to release new solo album in 2006 for Z Records . This will be an AOR album , and Tony Mill's will be writing the album with a host of other talented musicians including hopefully Tony Clarkin of Magnum. This will depend on Tony Clarkin being able to arrange this in his schedule. The album will be an AOR album this time and I am looking forward to this release . More information on this as I get it. Tony Mills-The Camden Underworld-Dec 3rd So in the Spring of next year we will have a 3rd Tony Mills album and an AOR one as well. I really liked the last solo album, in my opinion much better than Cruiser. Tony Mills is also working on the next Tor Talle album which should be great as well. Tony Mill's was sounding as great as ever on vocals - so I look forward to his next solo album. More news will appear here when I have it. Thanks for looking. |

SHY are looking to secure a Tour Booking agent and will be discussing SHY tours when they meet the fans on the forthcoming tour.

SHY will be playing songs from Sunset & Vine as part of the new live set 2005/6 SHY TOUR UPDATE - Nov 2nd SHY are on tour and turning on the class. They opened the tour at Queen's Hall (Nuneaton), and have since played in a sold out concert in Madrid, which included an unfortunate Lift Incident, if someone had a guitar on them they could have played Emergency , Telephone and Slowly- Acoustically of course. Prehaps they did. Anyway they got out the lift and played an excellent gig in Madrid as can be seen by the feedback at Shy Online's Guestbook. SHY then played Stourbridge Rock Cafe 2000 , which by all acounts was superb . Tonight SHY play Jilly's Rock World in Manchester - so if you can go and see SHY - I'm sure it will be a great night. But do check availability of tickets from venue 1st. Shy Tour Update - Dec 9th Well SHY have now played Firefest II where they went down a storm and was a great success. I spoke to Tony Mill's at the end of his gig at The Camden Unerworld and he told me it was the best reception SHY had received in the UK for many years. It was another succsses who now building momentum into 2006 which will hopefully continue their return to form.
